Logica3 Develops Suite of Emergency
Preparedness Materials
West Dundee, IL—August 5, 2008—The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) selected Logica3 to develop a set of emergency preparedness materials for the propane industry and its customers. The materials include brochures, newsletter articles, and news releases for nine natural disasters and weather-related events ranging from hurricanes and tornadoes to wildfires and earthquakes.
“The emergency preparedness materials are very valuable to our industry and the customers that we serve,” stated Stuart Flatow, PERC's vice president of safety and training. “The materials are visually compelling and they convey important safety-related messages in a style that is very consumer-friendly.”
The materials were prepared using a multi-layered approach that included consumer focus groups, interviews with propane marketers and other safety personnel, and a review of existing emergency preparedness communications from such organizations as the American Red Cross, National Safety Council, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
