Logica3 Donates Online eCard Platform to Postpartum Depression Awareness Campaign
West Dundee, IL—July 20, 2012—The Healing Group (THG), a Salt Lake City-based women's wellness center, today announced the debut of its newest Hey Mom! postpartum depression (PPD) awareness campaign eCard design by Springfield, Illinois-based Susie Griffin. Griffin is an acclaimed artist whose passion for art was recognized during her personal struggle with PPD. Available for free at www.hey-mom.com—through partner SaveATreeCards.com, which donated its online platform to the Hey Mom! eCard collection—the new eCard design features a whimsical peanut butter and jelly graphic with the message: “Hey Mom! To those who love you, you're beyond rock star. You're a legend.”
The Hey Mom! website, launched in June, features new post-pregnancy themes and wellness tips each month along with eCards and other interactive tools aimed at raising awareness and connecting women around PPD and related disorders. The campaign's July theme centers on helping moms squelch their inner critic while celebrating day-to-day tasks and recognizing achievements. The site also features a trained psychotherapist's blog, moving professional photography, moms' personal stories, “Ask the Expert” videos and a range of tools designed to help women connect and support each other.

About Susie Griffin
Susie Griffin is a self-described “accidental artist.” She has a background in floral design, interior decorating, scrapbook design and a degree in consumer sciences, but her true love has always been designing with paint and texture. She finds ways to weave her love of paint and texture into each and every creative thing she touches. Although she has steadily created beautiful things her whole life, Griffin only began showing her acrylic and mixed media paintings to the public within the last few years—to great success both locally and abroad. For instance, in her first public art show (in Helena, Montana, known as “The best small art town in the West!”), she was chosen by the Helena Independent Record as the sole featured artist for the 2009 Fall Art Walk.
